Some important dates if you’re ordering for Christmas…
It’s nearly December (GULP!) and many of us have already started our Christmas shopping. If you’re struggling for ideas and/or would like to support independent business this Christmas, then the Blog and Buy Sale Christmas Wish List will help you on your way.

Last Wednesday evening I was at Salford Museum and Art Gallery (with a stall of goodies) to mark the launch of By Hand: the Shop. By hand is a new craft shop at Salford Museum, featuring the work of independent artists and designer makers, many of who are local to the area. A collection of my cushions, teacups and tea towels are amongst the gorgeous products for sale.
The shop display is captivating and I’m sure visitors will find it hard to leave without purchasing a special something. It you’re looking for unique gift ideas for Christmas this is definitely the place to go!
And If you like what you see in the shop, in nearby Ordsall Hall there is a temporary exhibition that showcases more creations by the talented artists and designers.
