New California Collection Out Now!

It’s been a long time in the making (as I wanted to make it perfect), so I’m delighted and proud to introduce my new California home textiles collection at last!

The new designs are strongly influenced by my time spent exploring California, during my honeymoon in 2015, so this range is particularly close to my heart. (Hence why I have already decked out my new house with it!). The collection features sunset brights, stunning pastels and bold textured motifs on fabrics, scatter cushions and lampshades – all inspired by the bright colours of the Californian coastline and the mid-century delight that is Palm Springs!

This time I am also introducing a new cushion style to the range too. Sophisticated rectangular cushions (51cm x 30cm) are now here to complement the square design (45 x 45 cm) and I think they make a great addition!

So less of the chat and time for some pics I think… Here’s a little preview of what you can expect from my new range, which you can now shop from Etsy and Notonthehighstreet.com. I hope you like it!

Handmade Nottingham Spring Market

I’m very excited to have a stall at the Handmade Nottingham Market on Sunday 19th March. It takes place at Malt Cross on St James’ Street, just of the Market Square. If you’re in the area do pop by and say hello! I’ll have some special show offers just in time for Mother’s Day, plus you’ll be able to shop my brand new California range before it’s available online.

Checkout the Handmade Nottingham Market Facebook page for updates and to see the fab line up of local designer-makers at the event.

Hopefully see you there! x

Collection Photoshoot

A few weeks ago I travelled to Holly Booth’s sunny studio in Derby, to shoot some lifestyle photos of my fabrics and home accessories with her. The images are now in and I’m delighted to share a few with you.

Don’t they look fantastic?!

Huge thanks go to Holly, who was a pleasure to work with. She did a fab job photographing my colourful range and helping me style each set! Another special thank you goes to Curtains by Julia, who made the beautiful blinds and curtains featured.

I’m so pleased with the photographs and think they capture the vibrancy of my collection perfectly! Hurray!

‘Home Is In The North’ – A brand new interiors event coming to Manchester

I’m exhibiting at the first ever Home is In The North event on April 26th! The event is taking place at Halle St Peters in the Ancoats area of the city and it promises to be an interior event like no other. Not only are there 30 fabulous independent designer-makers selling their wares, but there will also be a number of interactive workshops going on throughout the day and some yummy food stalls too!

Home is Flyer There’s already plenty of buzz around the event. This heightened recently thanks to a pop-up photoshoot around the city, where many of the exhibitors (myself included) created homely settings with their products in various locations in Manchester. The professional photographs are now being used to promote the event, but I’m pleased to show you some of the behind the scenes shots I captured myself, to give you a flavour of what to expect!

For more information and to purchase your advance tickets please visit Home Is In The North. Hope to see you there!

The Independent Interiors Show

On Saturday I exhibited at the first ever Independent Interiors Show, which took place at the quirky 2022 venue in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. It was a pleasure to be involved with the show, which featured some of the best independent designer-makers from the north. Being fairly new to the scene it was great to meet so many local creatives and interior enthusiasts! To top the day off a number of fab up-cycling and ceramic workshops took place and sent ripples of applause around the venue throughout the day!

The folks at Tim Simpson Photography were on hand to record the day’s events and here are some terrific shots of my stand courtesy of them!

The event was a huge success and so it’s no surprise to hear that organisers Rachael and Victoria are already planning the next one!
