New! Festive Accessories for Christmas 2017

I have some exciting news… and although it may still be a little early to mention the ‘C word’ I’m delighted to share my limited edition Christmas Stockings, available this festive season in 6 fun and fabulous designs!

After making Christmas stockings for friends and family last year, they were so well received I decided to perfect the design and add them to my collection for Christmas 2017. They come in an assortment of colours and patterns and feature a quirky, contrasting pom-pom trim! There’s a stocking to suit all tastes, so use them to package your gifts for loved ones this Christmas or to decorate your own home. Then just hang yours at the end of the bed or by the chimney and see what Father Christmas brings!

I also have a number of limited edition gift sets and stocking fillers for lovers of colours and pattern, including Geometric Mug & Tea Towel Sets and Notebook Sets to tempt you! All of them come prettily packaged to make them extra special! 🙂

The new limited edition products are available now from my Etsy and Notonthehighstreet shops, so what are you waiting for?…Head on over to see what takes your fancy!

Keep your eyes peeled for my Christmas Gift Guides a little later in the year too!

My Newly Revamped Screen

I recently acquired a lovely antique screen and knew straight away it would make the perfect accessory for displaying some of my fabrics, as well as being a great addition to my new home. I’m due to move in a few months time, so I set to work giving it an Annabel Perrin makeover. I’m pleased to share the before and after shots with you now.

The screen had been re-upholstered but it was a little rough around the edges, as you can see! I spent hours stripping down layers of fabric and removing countless staples and tacks – most of which were rusty and rather stubborn! But I was eventually left with a good sturdy frame to work with. After adding a layer of calico to support my fabric, I began to re-cover the frame in some of my own designs.

I chose four fabrics that I think look brilliant and bold together – Spectrum, Imperial Diamond Mono, Flowerpress and Glasshouse and a bright orange trim to frame the patterns (and hide the tacks of course!).

What do you think? I’m delighted with it and cant wait to show it off at future shows and also in my new house!
