By Hand at Salford Art Gallery

Last Wednesday evening I was at Salford Museum and Art Gallery (with a stall of goodies) to mark the launch of By Hand: the Shop. By hand is a new craft shop at Salford Museum, featuring the work of independent artists and designer makers, many of who are local to the area. A collection of my cushions, teacups and tea towels are amongst the gorgeous products for sale.

The shop display is captivating and I’m sure visitors will find it hard to leave without purchasing a special something. It you’re looking for unique gift ideas for Christmas this is definitely the place to go!

And If you like what you see in the shop, in nearby Ordsall Hall there is a temporary exhibition that showcases more creations by the talented artists and designers.

Handmade in Britain – A Follow Up

Last week saw me travel down to London to exhibit my wares at Handmade in Britain, and what a great show it was! I was overwhelmed with the quality of craft and design on show and the number of visitors that kept coming through the doors. It was lovely to meet you all and thanks for taking the time to come over and say hello. For those of you who didn’t get to visit, I’ve included a few photos of my stand below.
